Beyond the mist cannot be seen.
That alone is no reason to rush.
The unicorn keeps its steady pace.
One may move forward unseen,
or pause.
Neither is wrong.
Mist will lift in time.
Even if it lingers,
the air remains.
The unicorn breathes quietly,
not imagining too far ahead—
only feeling
the ground beneath.
霧の向こうは見えない。
だからといって、急ぐ理由にはならない。
ユニコーンは歩幅を変えない。
見えないまま進むことも、
立ち止まることもできる。
どちらも間違いではない。
霧はやがて晴れる。
晴れなくても、
空気は確かにある。
ユニコーンは静かに息をする。
向こう側を想像しすぎない。
今の足元を、
確かめるだけ。
