The unicorn appears only at night,
its body cloaked in fragments of stars.
With each step, it leaves behind droplets of light.
“Why are you wearing the stars?”
a girl deep in the forest gently asked.
The unicorn looked up at the sky and whispered,
“To deliver a little light to someone’s heart.”
As the night grew darker, the stars shimmered softly,
gliding through the forest beside the unicorn,
quietly embracing those who could not sleep.
Soon, the girl’s eyes reflected that same gentle glow.
And that night,
the unicorn wrapped in stars appeared in her dreams.
そのユニコーンは、夜になると姿を現す。
身体には星のかけらをまとい、歩くたびに光のしずくがこぼれる。
「どうして星をまとっているの？」
森の奥で出会った少女がそっと尋ねた。
ユニコーンは空を見上げながら言った。
「誰かの心に、小さな光を届けたくて」
夜空が濃くなるほどに、星は静かに輝き出す。
その星たちは、眠れぬ誰かをそっと包み込むように、
ユニコーンとともに森を歩く。
少女の瞳にも、やがて優しい光が宿った。
そしてその晩、星をまとうユニコーンは、
そっと彼女の夢の中に現れた。
