When night fell quietly, Yuna couldn’t sleep and gazed up at the sky.
In the distance, she saw a unicorn standing alone in the meadow,
its horn pointed to the sky, counting the stars one by one.
“What are you doing?” she asked gently.
“I’m counting stars to watch over someone’s wish,” the unicorn replied.
Yuna sat beside it, watching the sky together.
With every star they counted, her heart grew calm.
“Do wishes really come true?”
“Yes,” said the unicorn. “They ride the light of the stars.”
That night, Yuna’s wish quietly took flight into the sky.
夜が静かに降りるころ、ユウナは眠れずに空を見上げていた。
そのとき、草原にひとりたたずむユニコーンが目に入った。
角を夜空に向け、ひとつ、またひとつと星を数えている。
「何をしているの？」ユウナがそっと聞くと、ユニコーンは答えた。
「星をかぞえて、誰かの願いを見守っているの」
ユウナは隣に座り、ユニコーンといっしょに星を見つめた。
数えるたびに、心がすうっと静かになっていく。
「願いは届くかな？」
「うん。願いは、数えた星の光に乗って旅をするんだよ」
その夜、ユウナの願いも、そっと空へと羽ばたいていった。
