The Flower Clock That Has Not Bloomed Yet / まだ開かない花時計

There was a clock made of flowers.

Each bloom
moved time forward.

But for now,
the petals remained closed.

The unicorn sat nearby.

It did not worry.

Time also exists
before blooming.

Eventually,
the petals opened.

The clock had been moving all along.

The unicorn smiled.

Preparing to bloom
was time well spent.

花でできた時計があった。

花びらが開くたび、
時間が進む。

けれど今は、
まだ閉じたまま。

ユニコーンはその前に座る。

開かないことを気にしない。

時間には、
咲く前の時間もあるから。

やがて花びらはゆっくり開く。

急がなくても、
時計はちゃんと動いていた。

ユニコーンは静かに微笑む。

咲く準備をしている時間も、
大切な時間だった。
