The Unicorn That Does Not End the Night / 夜を終わらせないユニコーン

Night has an end,
yet the unicorn does not rush it.

It does not stop the morning,
nor does it close the night.

Stars still flicker,
the sky stretches deep.
Time moves forward
without being forced.

The unicorn closes its eyes.
Night continues,
then gently turns into dawn.
It does not resist the flow.

夜には終わりがある。
けれどユニコーンは、
それを急がない。

朝が来ることを、
止めようとはしない。
ただ、夜を閉じない。

星はまだ瞬き、
空は深く広がる。
終わらせなくても、
時間は進む。

ユニコーンは目を閉じる。
夜は続き、
やがて朝へと変わる。
その流れに、逆らわない。
